Day 1

Morning folks,

 

First the Stats:

Weight 330.9 lbs

Waist:    59.75 in
Hips:      59.00 in
L Bicep: 17.50 in
R Bicep: 17.25 in
L Thigh: 29.50 in
R Thigh: 29.00 in

Total inches 212.00

Yikes…

Well I started it today…sorta.

Right now I’m starting small by keeping track of what I’m eating. I am reading about the slow carb diet, and think that it is going to be the first try at this.

These are the basic rules of the diet.

I cannot have:
Bread
Milk
Sugar
Fruit
Rice
or anything that is white, or could be turned white witht he exceptions of

Cottage cheese
Cream
Cauliflower
and some other things out there that I’m sure I’m missing.

All of this info can be found in the book the Four Hour Body by Tim Ferriss. Tim has a blog over here.

If you want to hear some amazing advice on life in general and how to make yourself better, I recommend reading his books.

Now I’m going to list here what I’ve had to eat so far today, and will add to this post as I go along.

Breakfast 6:20 AM

Banana
Two Eggo Buttermilk Waffles with Lite syrup and Butter (Bad I know)
Special K Chocolate Protein shake.

Notes: The breakfast was relatively filling, but was increasingly hungry after about 45 mins. Need to nix the waffles
and add in more protein.

First Lunch 10:00 AM
12 Asian style Unbreaded wings from 7-11 – Yay Protein
Slim Jim – These things are never as good as you remember them…
SoBe Lifewater – Fuji Apple Pear.

Notes: Wanted to add in more protein to the lunch, however need to find the right balance and add in some vegetables…ugh too much meat.

Lunch 2:00 pm
Tuna salad
White albacore tuna
Cherry tomatoes
Tabouli
Balsamic vinegar
Steamed edamame
Slice of lime
SoBe lifewater Blackberry Dragonfruit

lunch 04-05-2011

Notes on Lunch: Tuna was very good if a bit dry. Need to find something I cna use to moisten it up a bit. Maybe a dash of oil?

Dinner: 6:00 PM

Chicken Stir Fry

Sliced Boneless Chicken Breast.
Green Bell Pepper.
Onions.
Carrots.
Broccoli
Garlic
Soy Sauce.

SoBe Life Water Yumberry Pomegranate

Notes: Very filling Dinner, ate 2.5 servings. will definitely keep this one on the list.

Thoughts on Today:

First day, a few mistakes were made and definite kinks need to be worked out, but I think it went well. I will post later with the numbers of ME weight inches and so forth.
